Likewise, if you kill a bunch of lvl 1 and 2 animals, those will be generally the ones respawning. So while there is some predictability to it, there also seems to be some safe guards built in from preventing it from being too "cheap." You'll have to go elsewhere, wait for it legitimately. Although typically speeding up time in the game will not "cheat" into getting it to just instantly come back to it. I have had 2 diamonds generate/spawn in areas where I killed a diamond before but it's not happened in all areas I've killed diamonds before. That's my opinion after a couple thousand hours of play spread out over 5 maps. If there is a way to "force" a diamond to spawn only the devs know how and they are not telling. Animals do not grow older and bigger as time goes on, nor is there any substantiated proof (that I'm aware of) that killing animals of any level will result in a higher level animal being consistently spawned to replace the those that are killed. ![]()
